A Supply Chain Executive is required to join a leading Renewable Power organisation based in Dublin. AsSupply Chain Executive,you will ensure that the Procurement teamdevelop and strengthen connectionswith suppliersto ensure a competitive and robust supplychain.You willwork closely with andsupportthe Procurement Strategy Manager. While this positionwill be based in Dublinthere will be someinternational travel.

Key Responsibilities & Activities:

  • Developacomprehensiveunderstanding of wind, solar and storagesupply chainstoidentifyrisksand opportunities.
  • Identify current and future strategic opportunitieswithin the supply chain
  • Provide input to regular reports on wind, solar and storage supply chains to communicate findingseffectively to senior management and board toinformdecision-making processes.
  • Identify,prequalifyand develop relationships withcritical componentsuppliers to ensureincreasesin flexibilityand resilience throughout the supply chain.
  • Identify opportunities forimprovedproject profitability throughinnovative supplier agreements.
  • Incorporate supply chain considerations intothe Procurement Strategy to create value for the renewable energy asset pipeline.
  • Liaise and cooperate with external parties in relation to procurement activities – banks, independent engineers, contractors, government bodies, system operators etc.
  • Manage revision and quality of procurement documents (drawings, specification, standard, etc.)
The Person
  • Degree in Engineeringor Operations/Supply Chainis preferred.A further technicalor commercialqualification would be an advantage.
  • Experienceinrenewableenergypower generationwith exposure tointernationalsupply chain operationsis essential.
  • Supplier relationship management experience would be an advantage.
  • Strong analyticalability required.
  • Excellent written and oral communications skillswith an ability to communicatetechnical conceptsforbothtechnical and non-technical audiences.
  • Fluency inwritten and spokenEnglish; fluency in other languages considered an advantage.
