A Senior Supply Chain Planner is required to join a leading Pharmaceutical business in Dublin on a contract basis. This person is responsible for managing the external planning and delivery storage program and will act as a planner for the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather material forecast requirements for storage at the Warehouse.
  • Liaise with sending sites and warehouse to manage shipments for storage
  • Generate any SAP Stock transfers orders to bring materials from a sending site to Storage.
  • Manage approval process for storage of new materials
  • Own Change Controls for the introduction of new materials to the site.
  • Participate in the design of the new SAP functionality
  • Be part of the SAP qualification testing team for the new SAP release.
  • Participate in the Planning Cycle for forecast generation
  • Send forecasts to CMO’s and manage confirmation communications.
  • Material requirements planning for CMO’s including ordering, invoice payment and expiry management.

The Person:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • 3+ years experience in Supply Chain, Forecasting and Planning, gained within a GMP environment
  • SAP experience is required and ideally Rapid Response experience
  • Strong Microsoft Office Skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Good process development and problem-solving skills
  • Very good interpersonal skills; ability to interact with multiple stakeholders in an organization
