A Sales & Operational Planning Associate Manager is required to join a leading BioPharmaceutical organisation in Limerick.The S&OP Associate Manager is responsible for establishing and implementing S&OP standards and practices for a model supply chain, including developing policies, procedures, and techniques that are consistent with the strategic direction and sound principles of supply chain management.

The Role;

  • Mange the S&OP and Continuous Improvement Initiatives.
  • Understand and escalate supply risks and constraints across end to end program networks.
  • Collaborate with Supply Operations to ensure execution activities are supported by production plans.
  • Guide alignment with internal and external manufacturing stakeholders to develop production plans, including partners and collaborators.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure effective and disciplined planning of materials to meet requirements as defined by program development (commercial, clinical and independent) by consistently achieving customer orders
  • Actively seek creative supply solutions to optimize Supply Chain Planning
  • Drive Continuous improvements initiatives and enhance S&OP process development by communicating performance standards, developing joint improvement initiatives, and actively soliciting formal feedback

The Person

  • Bachelor's degree (Business, Supply Chain Mgmt., or Science background) + 6 years' experience in Supply Chain Management
  • Pharmaceutical or biotechnology experience a plus but candidates with solid S&OP experience from within a regulated manufacturing industry sectors will be considered
  • Masters' degree a plus
  • APICS or other related purchasing certifications a plus
  • Excellent communications skills and ability to drive change
  • Lean/Six Sigma/Continuous Improvement knowledge a plus
