A Procurement Data Analyst is required to join a leading Pharmaceutical Organisation in Cork. This is an opportunity to join a vibrant multi-cultural and multi-lingual team where you will play your part in making a difference for people the world over by supporting the business as it discovers, develops and delivers medicines that help people live longer, healthier and more active lives. In this Data Analysis role, you will play a key role within a newly created Global Procurement Center of Excellence by supporting the overall procurement strategy and enabling the procurement team through analytics, metrics and reporting.

The Role;

  • Analyse complex datasets to draw key insights, and translate these into commercial recommendations
  • Exhibit strong commercial acumen, and the ability to identify drivers of business demand and costs
  • Support category owners with evaluation, prioritization and development of a pipeline of opportunities to reduce costs
  • Work closely with procurement managers in conducting research on supply markets, price benchmarks, and supplier profiles to inform vendor selection process, helping to ensure best price

The Person;



  • English fluency and ability to negotiate in English
  • Qualified Accountant(CIMA/ACCA/ACA)
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting preferred
  • 3 years of relevant commercial finance/ business analyst experience preferred
  • Familiarity with procurement/finance preferred
  • Strong data analysis skills (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI)
