A P2P Analyst – Disbursements is required to join a leading global pharmaceutical business in Cork. The roleof a P2P Analyst for Disbursements involves having responsibility for P2P coordination of information from several aspects of the P2P Process. Dealing with multiple currency bank accounts, working closely with Banks. P2P activity includes and is not limited to Disbursements and Payments, BPO governance and building relations with Banks. All Analysts are responsible for professional interaction with business partners/affiliates.

The Role

  • Support team members on various processes in P2P. You will Review key metrics and communicate to managers to ensure KPIs are being met
  • Be point of contact for global P2P projects
  • Accounting Quality Reviews (e.g. sample audits). You will perform quality reviews, root cause analysis and resolve issues / deliver training as needed
  • As P2P Process improvement coordinator you will champion throughout P2P a process improvement philosophy . You will Identify, and work with the P2P team to identify, key process improvements

The Person

  • 3 years + P2P experience (Treasury & payments).
  • Business/ Accounting qualification
  • General business/functional knowledge
  • Advanced proficiency in using Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, etc.)
  • Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong research and issues resolution skills
  • Excellent active listening skills with effective verbal skills to respond to customers with a rational and empathetic manner.
  • Able to work under pressure, juggling short deadlines, multiple priorities and concern for maintaining standards.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, etc…)
  • SAP Experience is preferred
