This FMCG company is currently looking for someone for a Master Data Management role within their company.

Their main responsibilites would include:

  • Global Master Data Management is a key stream of this company’s Global SAP Deployment
  • Global MDM is a critical enabler of this company’s Global Operating Model strategies, providing reliable & consistent definitions for core business data, to support global and regional business requirements.
  • Global MDM controls and governs key core business data across Raw Materials, Finished Products, Customers and Vendors, to drive data quality as a business asset

    • This role is a key member of the EMEA Regional MDM team, supporting the team to drive the business value-add of quality master data in key commercial processes.As part of the MDM team, this role will have exposure to and involvement with the following objectives:
  • Ensure that Product & Material Master Data is of the highest standard, complies with global governance, and is fit for purpose throughout the business
  • Be a regional Subject Matter Expert on Product & Material Master Data and relevant technical platforms supporting same (MDM, Workflows, BI, ECC)
  • Ensure governance and stewardship of master data workflows driving “right first time” and nimble commercialisation processes within EMEA
  • Lead the Master Data stream of business projects with a heavy reliance on accurate Product & Material master data – eg Taste & Nutrition repositioning, Building Block deployment, Raw Material rationalisation, Production Transfers, Acquisition Integration etc
  • Deploy the MDM program throughout EMEA, aligned with the company’s SAP deployment program and MDM acceleration program
  • Provide second line support to EMEA MDM user community – RD&A, Regulatory, Procurement, Recipe Controllers, Supply Chain etc – issue resolution, root cause analysis and training
  • Produce business-relevant Key Performance Indicators supporting commercial objectives and business transformation projects
  • Re-engineer Master Data Management data and processes as required to optimally support emerging functional and commercial requirements – NPI, labelling, etc
  • Support increased integration across key business platforms to deliver a leaner and more integrated approach to fast, high quality data – Optiva, SFDC, MDM, ECC etc


  • Bachelor’s Degree – BIS or MBIS typically a very good fit
  • Strong Excel & analytics skills a significant advantage
  • MDM experience an advantage
