A leading multi-national manufacturer is seeking a Demand & Inventory Manager to join its Global Supply Chain Function to lead all aspects of demand management. This is a permanent role based in County Galway offering hybrid working. The focus of the role is to consolidate all sources of demand in collaboration with the Global Supply Chain team, the Account Manager in Asia, and the New Product Manager.
The Role
- You manage the collaborative demand planning process
- You are responsible for demand profile of the customer: - You follow the sales performance on your scope - You issue the statistical baseline of sales forecast to the account managers on time - You integrate phenomena linked to market trends, new products, marketing actions and new business activities.
- You compute and validate replenishment forecast
- You manage the update of distribution keys whenever necessary
- You organize the communication of the changes in the demand scenario to all stakeholders
- You propose actions to improve forecasting process and lead Kaizens and projects
- You publish relevant KPIs: - Sales and replenishment forecast accuracy and bias - Distribution Keys accuracy
The Person
- Master in Supply chain/ Operations management or Business or Engineering or Statistics or similar
- APICS certification preferred
- 3-5 years directly related supply chain experience.
- Knowledge of S&OP systems and process.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail required.
- Must have excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
