An Associate Director – Supply Planning & Execution is required to join a leading global biopharmaceutical business in Cork. The focus of this key leadership role is to support the delivery of both Supply Planning (MPS) & Execution (Sales & Operation Execution) and is a key contributor to Business Operations at the Manufacturing Site.

The Role

  • Lead Supply Planning activities related to the 3 to 18 month horizon, including the management of the MPS monthly cycle with Global Supply Chain, NPI, Inventory Management and coordinating the overall Site Supply Review process.
  • Manages operations and personnel, including organizing and prioritizing daily tasks, performing training and performance reviews to accomplish company objectives, in accordance with the budget and timelines.
  • HeShe will be responsible for personnel management to select, develop and evaluate staff to ensure the efficient operation of the function & conducts or organizes training and performance reviews.
  • Implements and assists with the development of Supply Chain policies, procedures, techniques, standards, and systems.
  • Prepares project plans and manages projects to successful and timely completion. Provides expertise to the team and functional areas to anticipate, identify and resolve complex project issues which pose a challenge to achieving strategic goals.
  • Supports the Continuous Improvement process by aggressively seeking ways to improve Supply Chain processes and performance.
The Person
  • BS or BA qualified
  • Significant Supply Planning experience gained within a pharmaceutical operations/cGMP environment
  • Previous experience in master production scheduling, network planning with CMOs and implementation of Supply Chain systems.
  • Direct team management experience is required.
  • Possess up-to-date knowledge of business operating systems, MPS Planning, production scheduling, SAP, Kinaxis Rapid Response (preferred), its uses and functions, and business need’s and developments.
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills, strong analytical skills and problem-solving capability.
